Fun ride!

Andy spent most of the afternoon on his ATV riding with Gabe from next door. My friend Kim and her daughters stopped by for a visit. Too hot!
In the evening, Scott and I took Cassie and Lightning for a lengthy ride around the property. Both horses behaved wonderfully! Lightning's gimpy foot seems to be getting better. After a long ride, he doesn't seem any worse for wear.

Lightning

This is Lightning, our paint mix. He's a big boy!!

Cassie

Here I am with Cassie. She's all mustang!

Cricket

Our newest horse is Cricket, an Arabian mix. Ellen can't get enough of her!

Toby

The critter on the left is Toby, a pygmy goat we picked up in Calhan.

Daisy

Here's Andy with our new pygmy goat, Daisy. She's a dainty little thing.

4th of July

We had a fun time with Kim and her family. Everyone took turns riding Cassie.
