A Time to Build

After a f-f-freezing winter, we decided a barn must go up for the animals. Here, we have the footprint of it staked out.

"He's kinda wobbly, isn't he?" - Thumper. Our little one has such great color and markings, some from each parent, and so different from his sister, Nellie.

For the Birds

After two failed nest-building attempts, a pair of persistent birds finally built a stable home under the eave of our run-in shed. The female laid five eggs to boot! Here, the chicks are perhaps just hours old.

Feed Me!

After just a few days, the chicks are growing quickly and keeping their tireless parents busy!
