The only way we could get in after the blizzard and snowstorm was by snowshoe. It took 3 hours to clean out the barn and dig out the goats.

We've had our second major snow storm in a week. Andy did a great job helping to clear the driveway.

Uncle Ben and Aunt Carol gave the kids really neat showshoes for Christmas. We just HAD to try them out at the property. What a blast!

Stuck in a Rut

A neighbor was nice enough to plow our driveway after the blizzard. Some of the snow has drifted back into our path, making it a bit tough to get through.

After the Storm

After a two-day blizzard, the sun finally decided to make an appearance. The horses stayed sheltered in the barn, but the little goat houses were buried by drifts.

Nice 'n' Cozy

We've had our first cold snap this winter; temps hit below zero. The inside of the barn isn't set up yet, but we still put it to use to get the horses out of the frigid wind and snow. Here's Lightning getting used to the new surroundings.
