Do I Have to...?

Here I am before I mount Ace for our first ride on the ranch. I'm really nervous, as evidenced by my uneasy grin, but it turns out that I had nothing to worry about. Ace behaved like a gentleman. I can't say the same about his saddling manners, though.

Tacked Up

Ace had some girthing issues from the start, which gave me great concern. Eventually, we got him all tacked up for my first ride on him at the ranch shortly after his arrival.
