Mother's Day Ride

Michele and I took a terrific 3 1/2 hour ride down at the Air Force Academy - our Mother's Day treat!

Crossings

Ace and I before (or after) we crossed a creek that runs along one of the trails. Both the horses did a great job crossing water on the second trip to the USAF.

A Break

Michele after a lunch break. While we ate our lunches, the horses snacked on juicy grass.

A Trusty Steed

Ace loves exploring the riding trails with me and has been the perfect partner on our adventures.

A long time coming

At long last, Michele and I got around to trailering the horses and taking a long-awaited trail ride. It was very windy day, cutting our ride short at the Greenland Open Space Preserve, but we finally got the experience under our belts--hopefully the first of many more to come!
